I taught high school for 31 years, with the last sixteen years spent teaching Floral Design. Fancy Pants Floral was a dream that became a reality in June 2019 working out of the spare bedroom of my home. I quickly outgrew the area and expanded into a freestanding studio space where I design for events. I have offered freelance floral services for the past 30+ years. I am passionate about flowers and plants and hope to share that passion with you. My specialty is taking your vision and turning it into a reality! My services include floral and plant design classes for groups. 

 

I earned my BS Degree in Horticulture from Texas A&M University and my MS degree from Walden University. My background includes both design and experience in many aspects of the floral and horticulture industry and in-depth understanding of products and process.  I keep current on trends by attending symposiums, floral expositions and forums, including workshops at the Benz School of Floral Design and Houston School of Flowers.
