About Me!
I am a wife and mother of three kids. I am passionate about the floral industry. I operate the floral studio creating designs for weddings, events, businesses, and funerals.
I taught high school for over 30 years, with the last sixteen years spent teaching Floral Design. I have offered freelance floral services for the past 30 years. I am passionate about flowers and plants and hope to share that passion with you. My specialty is expanding your floral confidence and skills! My services include floral and plant design classes for groups.
I earned my BS Degree in Horticulture from Texas A&M University. My background includes both design and experience in many aspects of the floral and horticulture industry and in-depth understanding of products and process. I keep current on trends by attending symposiums, floral expositions and forums, including workshops at the Benz School of Floral Design and Houston School of Flowers. I am a member of the Texas State Florists’ Association and earned my Texas Master Florist certification in 2018. I recently earned my Certified Floral Designer (CFD) designation from the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD).
